Meet Vicente!
Vicente is a 4-year-old sweetheart with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He’s wonderful with other dogs and kids, and truly thrives in social environments. Whether he’s making new friends or soaking up attention, Vicente is happiest when he’s around his people.
This affectionate boy loves to run and play at the park, followed by cozy time to recharge. He’s learning how to channel his excitement, working on boundaries, calm interactions, and settling after playtime. He’s eager to please and making great progress every day.
Vicente is also working on his manners at home. He’s improving with leash walking (he may pull when excited) and is generally very quiet, only letting out the cutest little whines now and then. He’s making strides with potty training too. While he doesn’t always go outside yet, he’s been reliably using pee pads indoors, likely adjusting from a previous outdoor lifestyle.
He would benefit from losing about 5 pounds to feel his best and breathe more comfortably, and he’s well on his way with the right routine.
Vicente came to us as an owner surrender and has been such a joy in foster care. He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and currently being fostered in Berkeley, CA.
