This sweet, gentle little guy came to us from a Central Valley shelter, where he had been found as a stray. We estimate he is about 1–2 years old, but he is calmer than many young pugs.
Scottie loves napping on the back of the couch like a cat, getting belly rubs, and greeting you with the cutest pug snorts when you come home. He is wonderful with adults and children, unfazed by other animals, and is doing great with potty training. He also happily goes into his crate for naps.
Scottie was recently diagnosed with epilepsy and has had three seizures while in our care. Our veterinarian started him on Keppra, a medication he will take three times a day to help prevent future episodes. With this medication, dogs typically live happy, full lives.
Scottie is a petite pug who can easily fly, though we are only comfortable with short flights at this time for him..
He will be neutered on Monday, March 16 and is vaccinated and microchipped. If you are looking for a sweet, loving pug who gets along with everyone, Scottie might be your guy.
