Meet Nina!
This sweet little girl is as friendly as they come. Nina is happy, cuddly, funny, and always excited to meet new faces, whether they have two legs or four. We estimate her to be around 3 years old, and at under 15 pounds, she’s the perfect petite pug package.
Her favorite thing? Belly rubs! She’ll also happily “chat” when she’s excited and has plenty to say when she’s feeling happy. She also lights up completely around kids.
Nina came to us from San Francisco Animal Care and Control after being found as a stray. She was microchipped, and while her family was contacted, they never came to bring her home. Staff suspected that may have been for the best, as Nina was dealing with chronic skin issues made worse by a severe flea infestation. Her ears had also been infected for some time, suggesting she had not received the care she needed.
They reached out to us to help Nina get the glow-up she deserved, and she has absolutely blossomed!
Her skin is looking so much better, though she will likely have some scarring on her back and areas of hair loss that may not fully grow back. She’s working on potty training, sleeps well in her pen, and would be thrilled to share your bed at night. As long as she’s with her people, Nina is one happy little pug.
Nina is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and being fostered in Martinez, CA.
