Mercedes is a sweet, spunky young pug with a heart full of love and personality. She’s friendly, resilient, and eager to be part of everything: everything you’d hope for in a rescue pug. She’s about 2 years old.
She gets along wonderfully with dogs and cats alike and would thrive in an active home where she can burn off her puppy energy. Like any young pug, her play style is hilariously dramatic: full of grumbles, body slams, and all the goofy antics that make this breed so endearing.
Mercedes loves to end the day in a big pug puddle, curled up with another furry friend and her people. She’s also a little chatterbox, with an endless repertoire of snorts, grunts, and playful barks to make her opinions known.
On top of all that, she’s potty trained, walks well on a leash, and is actively working on her car-riding skills.
She recently came back to our rescue due to compatibility issues, and we’ve evaluated her to determine that she’s a great little rescue pug. Mercedes might be a little shy at first, because she’s pretty confused at all the change in her life in the last few months. She’ll thrive with a confident, patient owner who can provide consistency, structure, and unconditional love while supporting her growth.
