Meet Layla!
Layla is a sweet, playful three-year-old pug who loves toys, cuddles, and being right by your side. She gets along with dogs and children and is quickly discovering how wonderful it is to be loved and included.
She’s a total shadow who wants to be wherever you are, whether that means curling up beside you or learning that furniture is, in fact, meant for lounging. She’s also learning how much fun walks can be and is getting better on leash every day.
Layla is newer to receiving attention and socializing, but she has warmed up quickly. She’s especially excited about making dog friends and sometimes gets a little TOO enthusiastic, so we’re helping her learn boundaries when other dogs aren’t interested in playing. We can tell she’s still figuring out this whole social thing, and we’re excited to watch her confidence grow.
Layla came to us as an owner surrender due to human allergies. And yes, we have to talk about pug glitter. Pugs shed, and Layla is happy to contribute her fair share!
She’s looking for a home ready to give her the attention, patience, affection, and love she deserves for the rest of her life. She’s ready to be your shadow, cuddle buddy, and very enthusiastic toy inspector.
She's spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and just received a dental cleaning. She's being fostered in Antioch, CA.
