Meet Derby!
This handsome pug is ready to find his forever home. We estimate he’s around 8–10 months old based on his teeth and overall temperament, but he is definitely a full-sized pug. Derby came to us from a shelter in Sacramento after being found as a stray.
He has an incredibly soft coat, the sweetest face, and the cutest little snout. Derby can be a little shy at first, but once he comes out of his shell, his playful personality shines. He loves running around with his foster siblings and spending his days romping through the yard. When he finally wears himself out, he’s happy to curl up for some snuggles before heading back out for more fun.
Derby would thrive in an active home looking for an older puppy with lots of energy. He gets along wonderfully with kids and other dogs and is sure to keep everyone entertained.
He’s neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home. One of his eyes has a little cloudiness, likely from an old injury, but it does not affect his vision at all. He’s also working hard on his potty training.
