Chloe is a lovable, goofy girl with a very sweet nature and a serious talent for being her person’s little shadow.
We estimate Chloe is about 4 years old, and she loves nothing more than being right by your side. She’ll follow her foster mom from room to room, happily accepting head scratches along the way. At bedtime, she settles quickly in her crate after her special treat, but she also loves curling up in bed and sleeping tucked right against your neck.
Chloe is potty trained and prefers having her person accompany her into the yard when it’s time to do her business. She’s met kids and was incredibly polite, and we think she’d do wonderfully with respectful children. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but she is a gentle, submissive girl.
She absolutely loves going for walks and appears to be quite good on leash. She gets so excited when it’s time to go that her foster mom has to put her harness on while Chloe sits on her lap because she just can’t contain herself. And when she’s excited, she makes the cutest little bark that sounds like a tiny howl.
Chloe is currently overweight, so she’s working on getting healthier and building up her endurance. She’s a pretty chill girl who loves a good nap, but as she gets healthier and stronger, we think she’ll be ready to enjoy even more adventures. She’s currently fostered with a Labrador and gets along beautifully with her. She also loves cuddling and playing with small toys and will happily roll onto her back for belly rubs.
Chloe came to us from a backyard breeding situation, and she’s now getting the chance to experience the kind of life every dog deserves: a soft bed, a loving family, and someone who thinks her little quirks are absolutely perfect.
She is truly a sweet, good-natured girl who will make a devoted companion. If you’re looking for a gentle little shadow who wants to be wherever you are, Chloe may be your girl.
Chloe is spayed, had a dental cleaning, is vaccinated and microchipped, and is being fostered in Livermore, CA.
