Meet Charlie!
Charlie is a sweet, 5-year-old pug who’s as affectionate as they come. She’s happiest when she’s near her people — whether that’s joining you on a walk, going for a car ride, or just snoozing next to your desk while you work.
Charlie currently weighs about 25 pounds, so she’ll need an active household committed to helping her reach a healthier weight (her goal is to lose at least 7 pounds). She’s carrying extra weight that can put strain on her joints, breathing, and heart health, so her weight loss journey is an important part of her long-term well-being. Because of her size, she isn’t able to fly.
Charlie loves her walks and recently even went on a forest hike in Oakland! She’s great with other dogs and would love a home with canine companions, but we know she'd also be happy just with her people.
She came to us as an owner surrender and has adjusted beautifully to her foster home. If you’re looking for a loyal, easygoing pug who’s happy to join you on adventures or just chill by your side, Charlie may be the perfect fit.
