Meet Bengee!
This big, squishy hunk of love is about to turn three and truly believes your full-time job should be giving him attention. He is affectionate, social, and happiest when he is right in the middle of whatever his people are doing.
Bengee is wonderful with little kids, though because he gets so excited, you will want to keep an eye out for the occasional happy tumble. He adores his foster pug sister and will often bring her toys to initiate playtime. Sharing is caring, according to Bengee. Despite his delightfully potato-shaped body, he is shockingly fast when the zoomies strike and will sprint joyful laps around the house or yard. He is equal parts hilarious and heart-melting.
One of his signature moves is the “pug hug.” He climbs up, places both paws on your shoulders, and leans in close like he is sealing the deal on a lifelong friendship. Personal space is optional in Bengee’s world.
He does well in a crate but will need continued guidance with leash manners and potty training. With consistency, structure, and positive reinforcement, he is eager to learn. He thrives in an active home with people and other dogs around and will continue to blossom with regular playtime, proper exercise, and a healthy routine to help him slim down.
His previous owner reached out because they wanted more for him than they could provide, and he is flourishing in foster care with lots of love and activity.
Bengee is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He is currently being fostered in Antioch, CA, and is ready to find a home where he can give pug hugs for life.
