Arthur is an beautiful pug with a heart full of love and an energetic spirit to match. Like any true pug, Arthur is happiest when he's close to his people or when he's bouncing around the yard.
He is currently working on his potty training and is making great progress with positive reinforcement. He’s also a pretty good walker and doesn’t pull much on the leash, making strolls together a breeze.
This friendly pug is pretty social, but with humans he requires a gentle and cautious introduction. Arthur isn't a fan of sudden movements, strangers trying to pet him, or being surprised, so an experienced and patient adopter is required. He'd be happy as the only dog in the home, as he prefers to soak up all the love and attention, but he'd also do well with a laid-back and more submissive dog sibling.
He came in having trouble breathing, so we had his soft palette trimmed. He's an active guy, but can still get worked up, so not too much time in the heat! He's being fostered in Sacramento, CA.
