This sweet guy is an adorable pug mix we pulled from Oakland Animal Services after he was found as a stray. We estimate Nathan is around 6 years old, and while we’re not quite sure what his mix is, we are very sure he’s an awesome dog.
Nathan is friendly with kids, loves being close to his people, and has plenty of personality. He gets along well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion, but he certainly doesn’t need one. We think he’d be perfectly happy as your one and only.
Nathan can take a little time to settle in and feel comfortable with someone new, but once he decides you’re his person, he’s all in. He’s curious, funny, and the kind of dog who will keep you smiling. He walks well on leash and is doing great with his house training, too.
And one of our favorite things about Nathan? The second you make eye contact with him, that little short tail starts wagging hard and his tongue starts to stick out as he smiles at you.
If you’re looking for a sweet, funny new best friend who just wants to be by your side, Nathan might be your guy.
