Bubba is the sweetest guy who has had a little bad luck along the way. He came to us from a shelter after being hit by a car, but thankfully he didn’t suffer any broken bones. We estimate he is about 8 years old, and he has the most wonderfully mellow personality.
His tail wags through all of his waking hours (pug waking hours, of course). Bubba is an excellent kitchen companion and house-repair supervisor, always happy to keep an eye on whatever you’re doing. Like any true pug, he simply wants to be close to his people and is happiest lounging nearby or following you from room to room.
He enjoys calm walks on the beach, along a creek, or just around the neighborhood, and he’s a great walking buddy who happily keeps pace with his human. When he knows it’s time for a walk, he sometimes gets so excited he lets out a little wee sound. Bubba also loves car rides, especially when the weather is nice and the windows are down.
At home, Bubba has perfected the art of the nap and rotates between his many favorite spots. If you invite him to nap with you, though, he’ll be absolutely over the moon. Occasionally you might even hear him dreaming with tiny pug barks. He loves forehead kisses, butt scratches, and gentle affection, though he isn’t a big fan of bath time or being picked up for too long and will wiggle his way back down.
Bubba is potty trained and good about going outside when you take him out, and we are currently working on dog door training. He enjoys adventures, whether it’s a relaxed day on the couch or a longer outing, as long as he has water and his people nearby.
He loves other dogs, doesn’t seem to mind cats, and still has plenty of pep in his step for life’s little adventures.
Bubba is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped.
