Meet Charlotte! She’s sassy, playful, and absolutely obsessed with her toys. This girl loves babies, gets along wonderfully with children, and has an easygoing, happy personality. She’s also a fighter. After developing a severe case of pneumonia following a dental procedure, she pulled through with weeks of dedicated care and is now thriving. While she does have some mild tracheal collapse, it doesn't slow her down in the least! This girl is ready for action.
Charlotte came to us through a Central Valley partnership after her owner entered a nursing home. Sadly, none of the family could keep the dogs, so they found their way into rescues. We estimate Charlotte to be about 4–6 years old. Her teeth weren’t in great shape when she arrived, so she had a dental with a few extractions, as well as a small hernia repair from a previous spay scar.
If you want a pug who loves to play, Charlotte’s your girl! She’s always up for fetch, happily parades around with her squeaky toys, and greets each day with joy and excitement. She does well with other dogs, ignores cats, and is perfectly content around kids. Other than needing to shed a little weight, she’s the total package.
She’s potty trained, knows how to use a dog door, and will win you over with her adorable, smiley face. Come meet Charlotte and fall in love right away!
