This teddy-bear pug is as close to perfect as they come. Lucas is potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, gets along with other dogs, rides like a champ in the car, and has the best of both worlds: he’s a mellow couch potato but always up for playtime if you are. He’ll follow you from room to room and happily join you for his daily walks.
Lucas is 5 years old (the perfect adult age!) with one charming eye (always winking at you), short legs (short king status!), and a solid 23 pounds that could benefit from a little slimming for his health. He has a mild case of arthritis in his hips, so weight loss should help relieve that. He’s neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
His story? His previous owners abandoned him at the vet because they didn’t want to pay for him anymore. Thankfully, the vet knew exactly who to call, and we scooped him up the very next day. Now he’s living his best foster life in Sacramento and is ready for his forever home.
